There is a compulsory internship in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Internship is the preparation of students for business life in the public and private sectors. In order to make on-site observations and examinations about the tasks they can perform in commercial and industrial organizations and institutions and organizations in the service sector related to their education, students must complete a summer internship of 40 working days in the summer term of the 2nd year and 40 working days in the summer term of the 3rd year, a total of 80 working days in office and construction site.
The aim of the internship is to ensure the development of the knowledge accumulation formed by the courses given in the relevant academic program in the industry, to make preliminary preparation for the courses to be taken in the following semesters, to introduce students to the work they can do in the industrial environment and in institutions related to their education. The perspective here should be to observe the work done in the company in as much detail as possible. In addition, by doing this internship, students will gain experience in company-management-employee relations and interaction.
In the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, internship opportunities are available in construction sites, municipalities, relevant ministries, project offices, various design, furniture and material workshops.
